Online Volunteers Management System
Introduction
For a school which has a programme for parents to serve 40 hours of voluntary work in order to obtain priority in P1 registration for their children, managing the volunteers is a big challenge. Our OVUMS is designed from the ground up to reduce the workload of every stakeholder.

How It Works
- Parent-volunteers (PVs) are directed to apply online to join the programme. *
- The Programme Administrator (PA) receives an alert, and after evaluation either approves, disapproves or KIVs the application.
- The approved PVs are then asked to select the activities which they are able to serve in.
- Through the search function, any Activity Administrator (AA) can find the helpers he requires and communicate with them quickly.
- When a PV has done his service, he logs in to record his hours of service.
- The AA will receive an alert of the service update, and can decide to edit or void it if it is not accurate.
- PV can lookup his hours of service anywhere anytime and print it for safe-keeping.
- When it is submission time, the PA can download the successful PVs into an Excel spreadsheet and format the report.
* In the unfortunate case when a PV has no Internet access, assistance can be provided by the school, the PSG or a fellow PV. This activity can be recognised as a voluntary service.
